Beryl and Ubuntu — Do you really need Vista?
Now watch this video and and tell whether Vista could ever come closer to this in the next 10 years. And if they do so, they would ask you a freaking 20 GB RAM. Beryl comfortably runs on 512 MB memory and a decent processor. Here is a feedback by one …

I’m running xgl/compiz aiglx/beryl for almost a year. Runs pretty stable by now.
I have a 1.8ghz Athlon, 1GB ram, and a Geforce 9600GT – should work on much lower specs though.

How to make it am using Fc6 and beryl on KDE but still can not get my own matrix yet
